Autumn is officially here, which means that some of the best holidays are just around the corner! In the United States, at least, Thanksgiving is one of the best days in the year for feasting on delicious, often-way-too-hefty portions of grub.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year? Spices for Thanksgiving Feasts.
Many would argue that the classic menu of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and an assortment of tasty casseroles is hard to beat. But if roasted turkey isn’t your thing, or you simply want to try something new this year, why not use Karen’s Spice Kitchen spice blends to quite literally spice up your meal this Thanksgiving holiday?
There’s no need to forgo the entire Thanksgiving tradition.
Keep the turkey on the menu, but make the meal unique by substituting it for chicken or lamb in a delicious ethnic dish, such as a turkey tikka masala or butter turkey curry.

If that’s a little further than you’d like to stray from the traditional menu, but you still want to make things interesting, why not let your creative juices flow by whipping up some delicious curried turkey wings or meatballs, a curried turkey soup or a zesty curry sauce for your guests to drizzle over slices of roast or fried turkey?
By incorporating turkey into the meal in exotic ways, your festive spread will appeal to the palates of those who want to keep turkey as the holiday staple as well as to guests with adventurous taste buds who are willing to stray a bit from tradition.
Your guests will be begging you to give them leftovers to take home!
Speaking of leftovers... most of us dinner hosts end up with a whole heck of a lot of them after Thanksgiving Day.
So even if you stick with a more traditional Thanksgiving turkey recipe for the holiday itself, you may be looking for a unique way to utilize some of those leftovers after your guests depart. After all, there are only so many days in a row that one cares to eat plain roasted turkey slices! Karen’s Spice Kitchen spice blends are your answer to breathing new life into those remaining turkey carvings hanging out in your refrigerator. Image: www.theendlessmeal.com/butter-turkey-curry/
